ALFRED BBS 26 - Username Requirements

Unlike VIPER BBS v10 and previous versions, ALFRED BBS 26 does not ask for first and last name and assign the login based on that information.  ALFRED BBS 26 now uses a single field Username. 

Usernames must be as follows:

Username must be 3-24 characters and contain only letters, numbers, _ or -.

If users were migrated from VIPER BBS v10 or DOS Versions, the username will be firstname.lastname
